Screenwriter, Roger Strong is fiercly rewriting Torch, which Capstone plans to have ready to share with partners in early 2016. The script is a character-driven, action film about a soldier with PTSD and an Iraq War amputee, who find themselves trying to save family members wrapped up inside a New Orleans crime syndicate.

Following the completion of his short film, Fork, Huffman launched into writing his next feature script, Oyster, a teen drama, which he completed this summer. Capstone is working to produce the film in 2016.
Oyster is an honest and raw look at a modern youth carving out his own identity in the midst of love, sex, drugs, religion, and the infinite pressures and opinions heaped onto him.

Dramatic short film, FORK, written and directed by David Huffman begins production at Firestone Ranch in Agua Dulce, CA today. FORK, starring Michael Escamilla, Timothy Brennen, Briton Green, and Rob Wuesthoff, and produced by Eric Keith tells the story of the last five minutes in the life of a challenged ranch hand that has just murdered the man who bought his families’ ranch.

Star Wars fans along with most of the cast and crew are expected to gather tonight and walk to the red carpet for this homecoming event.

Counter Productions and Capstone Entertainment Group documentary feature film makes its world premiere today at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Director, Heidi Burkey will represent the film at its screening this afternoon. Capstone CEO, Eric Keith responded to this announcement “We have been working with Counter Productions on this film since 2009 and we are thrilled to have this picture in front of a live audience, we can’t wait to see how it is received.”
MAKIN’ WOOKIEE is written and directed by Heidi Burkey. Heidi is a documentary director committed to capturing unique and compelling stories, and specializes in working with non-profit organizations. Through this work she has produced, directed and edited over 45 documentary shorts advocating for social change on behalf of children. In 2010 DTJ partnered with CNN and Soledad O’Brien to produce the film, “Rescued,” following the lives of two Haitian orphans before and after the devastating 2010 earthquake. “IDOL” WINNER KRIS ALLEN TO COMPOSE FOR FORK

Recording artist and "American Idol" Winner, Kris Allen, has officially signed on to compose original music for Capstone short film, FORK. The film’s director David Huffman had this to say in response to Allen signing on, “Kris’s musical sensibilities and approach to the material is a perfect match for the film. I was honored when he read the script and agreed to score the project.”
Producer and Capstone Executive, Eric Keith said, “We couldn’t be happier to be working with Kris Allen on FORK, his abilities as a composer and gifted story teller himself, when paired with the story of writer/director, David Huffman is going to bring just the energy and vibe we were looking to convey.” Kris Allen is currently on a world tour for his new album “Horizons” and will work on the music for FORK while touring.
